**Job Description**:
Organon’s Forecasting CoE has several positions available for short-range forecasting at various experience and skill levels.
The short-range demand forecaster will be responsible for developing accurate statistical forecasts for a 36-month horizon that will drive production and supply chain planning (SKU-based).
Additionally, this role monitors and reports KPIs, and conducts analytics to diagnosis and course-correct identified areas for improvement. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain Planning, Country Operations and Finance to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop demand plans that meet business objectives and help us understand if the company is operating efficiently.
**Required Abilities**
- Strong analytical skills; an aptitude for problem solving and strategic thinking.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques / software and quantitative problem-solving.
- Seasoned negotiation skills with innovative mindset.
- Solid project management abilities, often juggling multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong group facilitation abilities and presentation skills.
**Education & Experience**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MA/MBA degree in analytical field preferred (economics, finance, management, mathematics, statistics, physics, business analysis, data science, etc.).
- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry would be desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in similar roles of Demand, Strategic Forecasting or related Analytical roles will be considered a plus.
- Ability to collaborate and be effective with teams.
- Project management capabilities.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Fluency in Excel and Power BI considered a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential.
