Strategic Forecasting

**The Position**

The Strategic Forecasting and Analytics Senior Specialist role will be to develop forecasting models and analytics based on industry trends, demand patterns and market dynamics through extrapolation and trend smoothening based on historic and analogue or patient based forecasting to build a baseline forecast to support the countries, challenge stakeholders and propose solutions to improve forecast accuracy. The primary responsibilities will be to structure the forecasting and the KPI´s while supporting in the resolution of the operation issues as they arise, ensuring that our organization meets future demand to continue operating as efficiently and effectively as possible.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop accurate statistical forecasts for a 10 years horizon that will drive production and supply chain planning (SKU-based).
- Monitors and reports KPIs
- Conducts analytics to diagnosis and course-correct identified areas for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain Planning, Country Operations and Finance to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop demand plans that meet business objectives and help us understand if the company is operating efficiently.
- Deep understanding of patient based modelling and ability to adapt and prepare model according
- Strong Expertise in commercial and financial trend forecasting.
- Understanding of commercial, pharma marketing, market access and sales
- Expertise in competitive intelligence
- Advanced capability in Data storytelling
- Expertise on data management and cleansing
- Ability to challenge and manage stakeholders
- Good business acumen and Entrepreneurial mindset
- Project management skills
- Forecasting Training: knowledge about best suitable trend forecasting methodology to use and patient model forecast.
- Ability to understand complex business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

**Required Education, Experience, and Skills**

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in analytical field preferred (Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistic or related fields)
- Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years pharmaceutical forecasting experience
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in diverse teams
- Demonstrated project management capabilities
