Indirect Tax Technology Specialist

As an Indirect Tax Technology Specialist, you will act as an interface between Finance and Tax departments, Supply Chain, Procurement and IT.

In your new role you will:

- Support **Global Indirect Tax team on various projects **(e.g. S4/HANA rollouts, M&A integrations)
- Gather global **indirect tax business requirements **, prepare functional design documentation and support implementation and testing
- **Evaluate and deploy indirect tax technology solutions**:

- **Implement and enhance tax tools **, manage **continuous improvement **to ensure tax compliance and automated tax controls and reporting
- **Drive tax technology services **through active global participation
- Analyze **impacts on new or changed business transactions **, such as shipping lanes being reflected correctly in our SAP solution
- Analyze **mass data to ensure correct results **on indirect tax determination
- Create and handle **tax documentation, handbooks and training **slides
- Provide **ad hoc support **to other tax team members where required

You are a curious highly motivated person, a fast learner, and an effective multitasker. You are capable of using your analytical skills to come up with innovative and compliant tax solutions. Furthermore, you are a strong team player, willing to work with people from different regions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- **Experience in Indirect Taxes **(VAT, GST), additionally having **experience in Accounting **is an advantage
- **Experience in SAP **or strong **IT affinity**:

- Understanding in any **SAP VAT add-on, Tax Engine or SAP price condition technique **is favorable
- Knowledge in **Tax Solutions **such as SAP Tax Compliance, SAP ACR or other VAT reporting tools incl. SAF-T is a big plus
- Ability to deal with **complex global value flows**:

- Solid knowledge of **MS Office **, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- **Pro-activeness **while being able to work under pressure and commit to deadlines
- **Fluency in English
