We are currently recruiting for a Shared Service Center expanding its operations. The Indirect Tax Analyst will support the definition and implementation of an effective and efficient strategy for Global Indirect Taxation and supervise the implementation of those strategies in European Region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define regional strategies and process improvement road map to ensure efficient, effective and compliant indirect tax operations
- Assess indirect tax treatment of multiple transactions (input/output) - namely VAT and Customs
- Cross-checking of information on VAT returns / Accounting / Statistic information (Intrastat)
- Support business/commercial personnel (consignment stocks, new customers setup, new supply chains flows, external tolling)
- Support a VAT Audit program with the objective to check and improve VAT accounting
- Promote the bridge between Business / Finance / Local Tax advisors
- Support and implementation of projects (SAP, extension of business model)
- Streamline Indirect Taxation process for the region, leveraging Project roll out, VAT returns mapping and seek automation opportunities.
- Follow-up VAT assessments in EIMEA countries
- VAT transactions monthly control
- Keep all SOX requirements

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- 2+ years of professional experience / expertise in Indirect Tax (notably VAT) Management
- Degree and professional qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to manage stakeholders and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships
- Working experience of ERP (ideally SAP) and other finance / tax systems
- Knowledge of SOX, compliance and internal controls related with Financial Reporting
