Job Purpose

Ensure VAT position of EMEA countries is compliant.

**Responsibilities**:
**Responsible for EMEA VAT compliance**: VAT returns; EU Sales Listings; Intrastat; Other local fillings;
Collect data from various stakeholders;
Assist manager with questions, audits and investigations from local tax authorities;
Provide in-house VAT trainings for colleagues in Trade, Execution, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
Document and improve the VAT processes within the company;
Continuing improvement of the tax environment;
Support with the implementation of the Cofco indirect Tax Control Framework;
Assist on other relevant tax matters.

**Requirements**:
University Degree in tax, finance or accounting (preferred);
Minimum of 2-year experience with VAT compliance in EMEA region;
Knowledge of Trading and ERP systems and preferably of our industry (commodity trading);
Excellent English knowledge (both verbal and written);
Good communication skills, team player attitude.
