About Xblend

Xblend, an Idera, Inc. company, is looking for a B2B Sales Specialist that will work within a successful and experienced sales team to help grow the Xray brand. Xray is a market-leading test management solution for Jira users, providing an intuitive and comprehensive test management experience that is customizable for a user’s specific QA needs.

You must embrace and enjoy working in a fast-paced, action-oriented culture under the umbrella of a larger supporting corporate parent (Idera, Inc.). Xray is a challenging but rewarding environment that values performance and results while offering flexibility around geographic location.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on individual to drive sales in the North and South American markets with tactical execution of our business model. The ability to multitask, adjust processes, work with both internal and external clients and be self-motivated is extremely important. This role will lead all revenue-generating activities for this area and follow up on leads that are generated by our marketing campaigns, events we participate in, and direct customer contacts. You will carry out product demos and make the most of your network of contacts, your knowledge of the software development life cycle space, and your ability to understand how our product can support our client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute sales activities to meet regional quarterly and annual sales objectives
- Provide forecasting and recommend improvements actions
- Provide short and long-term sales goals
- Communicate directly with prospects and guide them in evaluating our software through all phases of the presales process
- Answer all technical and non-technical product and licensing-related questions during and after the trial process for prospects and customers
- Provide quotes and pricing information to prospects as needed
- Follow-up with prospects during the evaluation and purchase process
- Perform account health checks and technical assessments of Xray customer environments and provide best practice feedback and analysis
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and discussions
- Provide other means of support to customers and team members as needed

Key Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a successful quota-carrying direct sales role, preferably in the SDLC space
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent presentation skills
- Exceptional soft skills
- Fundamental understanding of the software development life cycle required
- Experience with Atlassian’s Jira is preferred
- Experience with test management preferred
- Highly organized and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently and productively under pressure
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Can demonstrate accountability, commitment, integrity, and respect
- HubSpot experience is a plus
