Data Governance Specialist

**About the job**
- BNP Paribas CIB IT Architecture is looking for a Data Governance Specialist to join our team to ensure that systems are designed, upgraded, managed, de-commissioned and archived in compliance with data policy across the full data life cycle. This includes complying with the data strategy and undertaking the design of data models and supporting the management of metadata

**Your Main Activities Are**

Structure information in the Information System, i.e. the way information is grouped, as well as the navigation methods and the terminology used within the Information Systems of the entity, as defined by the lead data architects

Create and manage data models in all their forms, including conceptual models, functional database designs, message models and others in compliance with the data framework policy;

Communicate with teams & client personnel at appropriate levels when needed;

Contribute for and enrich the Data Architecture Framework;

Contribute for the definition and implementation of policies, processes and procedures related to data management and governance;

Develop your professional knowledge and experiences within CIB business scope.

**Profile** and Skills to Success**

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Engineering and/or similar area

Years of relevant experience in Data Governance or Data Management

Advanced level of English, both written and oral

Years of relevant experience in data governance tools such as: MS Purview, Collibra or Informatica

Focused on delivery, interpret business needs and map them with data

Experience with frameworks such as: COBIT, TOGAF or DAMA

Team-oriented and efficient
