**Job Type**: Full-time, 12-month contract
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive **Junior Operations Manager** to join our team. You’ll coordinate daily schedules, support freelance guides, solve real-time issues, and make sure our tours run smoothly. This is a hybrid position, with both office and on-site work.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage tour operations: schedules, attendance, coverage
- Communicate with guides and clients, solve last-minute issues
- Handle reporting (Excel/Sheets), receipts, and basic payments
- Maintain quality standards and professionalism
- Build strong relationships with guides and the team
**Requirements**:
- 1-3 years of experience in **operations, logistics, hospitality, or team management**:
- Fluent English, advanced Spanish is a requirement.
- Confident, organized, and proactive under pressure
- Comfortable with Google Workspace and online tools
- Willing to commute to our office in Coimbra 2 to 3 times a week ; right to work in Portugal
- Due to the nature of the business (tourism industry), we require availability to work on some weekends and bank holidays
