**Power Solutions > Applications, Controls & Electrical > Turbine Release Management** Vestas Power Solutions is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. To put it short, we are shaping the future of modern energy and we operate on a global scale with more than 1,500 employees. The Release Management department integrates and tests software from 250 developers. Our CI/CD pipeline is testing both in PC environment and on simulated turbine hardware. We are continuously regression testing our turbine software, and always seek to improve and use innovative testing software and infrastructure. The department consists of 30 employees located in DK and Porto, and we´re growing. The SRE team is creating the foundation for our pipeline and creating the runway for all our developers to move forward as seamlessly as possible. We have a high focus on creating self-service platforms. The team in Porto currently consists of 2 SRE engineers, 1 SRE specialist, and 1 DevOps engineer, meaning your voice will be heard and you´ll have a big impact on the decisions and the way forward. The tone is informal, there´s room for social conversations in the team, and we´re very flexible with working hours and remote work. We encourage you to attend relevant training courses and conferences to strengthen your skills. **Responsibilities** As an SRE specialist, your main responsibility will include: - Administrator of our used technologies including upgrades and improvement - Support our developers across the world regarding infrastructure queries - Participate in developing our future infrastructure to ensure performance for the increasing demands from the R&D area, with a focus on self-service platforms - Be part of a cross-functional team between Portugal and Denmark - Close collaboration with our IT department **Qualifications** It will be an advantage with experience within several of the following areas: - Our used technologies - Configuration Management - Applications on Windows and Linux and its administration and troubleshooting - Virtualization environments administration - Experience with scripting in Python, PowerShell, Batch, etc. - System administration - Ability to communicate with many stakeholders in a big organization **Competencies** - You are actively participating in meetings, and you are not afraid to take decisions - You enjoy interacting with people from many different cultures - You have the skills and the mindset to promote changes - You deliver what you promise - You are eager to learn - You have good communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing) **What we offer** We offer a progressive workplace with excellent professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, international work environment with the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
