Do you dare to be the owner of your professional career in an inspiring world? **What will you have to do?** - Ensure maximum possible occupancy and average room rate is achieved at all times - Ensure the efficient day to day running of the Department. - Proactive manage availability, recommending necessary strategy changes - Keep up to date with global and local events impacting your city and hotel - Develop the Reservations team to maximise revenue on every call - Check Reservations and ensure all bookings have been entered in accordance with set strategy - Manage any overbooking on a certain room type. **What are we looking for?** - At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel - High level of Portuguese and English - Knowledge of PMS Opera Cloud would be a plus - Leadership, personnel management, and decision-making skills. **At Meliá we are all VIP** Great professionals who make everyday life easier and exceptional.
