Join Sage as a Partner Development Manager and be part of the growing Cloud revolution Your role will focus on expanding Sage’s partner ecosystem by identifying, onboarding, and supporting new partners, including VARs, ISVs, and Strategic Alliances. You’ll drive mutual growth by creating impactful collaborations that solve customer challenges.

This is a hybrid position with three days a week in the office.

First 90 Days:

- First 30 Days: Gain a deep understanding of Sage’s partner ecosystem, Cloud offerings, and tools. Start building a recruitment pipeline with guidance from your manager.
- Next 30 Days: Actively engage with potential partners, present Sage’s value proposition, and align their capabilities with Sage’s business objectives.
- By 90 Days: Successfully onboard your first set of partners, ensuring they are set up for success and aligned with Sage’s growth strategy.

Meet the Team:
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Channel, Alliances, Marketing, Legal, and Operations, to streamline partner recruitment and onboarding. Reporting to a seasoned Partner Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to driving Sage’s ecosystem expansion.

How Success Will Be Measured:
Success will be defined by the number and quality of partners recruited, their successful onboarding, and their subsequent performance within the Sage ecosystem. Key metrics include partner satisfaction, revenue contributions, and achievement of recruitment and business development goals.

Your day involves identifying and engaging prospective partners, presenting Sage’s Cloud solutions, conducting onboarding sessions, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues. You’ll also stay updated on industry trends to refine development strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute strategic plans to recruit partners, including VARs, ISVs, and MPPs, into the Sage ecosystem.
- Manage the onboarding process to enable partner success and growth.
- Advocate for Sage’s Cloud solutions and build compelling business cases for partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate opportunities, conduct due diligence, and address risks.
- Utilize social media and professional platforms to attract high-calibre partners.
- Stay abreast of Cloud, software, consulting, and fintech trends to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:
Must-Haves:

- Experience in partner recruitment, business development/sales, or ecosystem management.
- Knowledge of channel models (VARs, ISVs, MPPs) and Cloud solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Active listening and problem-solving skills to align partner goals with Sage’s objectives.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
- Familiarity with market trends in Cloud, tech, and fintech industries.
- Familiarity with Office suite (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
