Associate Operational Effectiveness Manager, Maternity Leave Cover for 6 Months

**The Associate Operations Effectiveness Manager reports to the Associate Director, Operations Effectiveness, and supports the development of the operations function in line with the strategic plans for IQVIA Medical Communications (IMC).**

The IQVIA Medical Communications Team requires an experience Associate Operational Effectiveness Manager to cover maternity leave for a period of up to 180 days. The Associate Operational Effectiveness Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the IMC Team. At least 3 - 5 years' experience in an operations or a similar role is required. The Associate Operations Effectiveness Manager will be highly organized, have excellent attention to detail, and previous experience in project management or an equivalent process-focused role. In addition, the Associate Operations Effectiveness Manager will be experienced in the timely, thorough, and accurate collation and analysis of data on the basis of which strategic operational and financial decisions can be made. Other responsibilities include the development, or update and improvement, of SOPs and work instructions to support the delivery of our projects and business development activities. Expertise in the use of Smartsheet is essential. A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach, with a 'can do' attitude, is essential, as is the ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving environment. A medical communications agency background is preferred but is not essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Regular communication with the wider IMC team
- Ensuring processes remain compliant
- Collation of data as requested and preparation of reports for review/analysis
- Development and implementation of appropriate systems, processes, and practices across the team to ensure operations are carried out in a timely and cost-effective way
- Contribution to the review and improvement of operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Management of timely data collection to update operations metrics

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working as an Associate Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent project planning and management skills
- Proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach, a 'can do' attitude, and ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving environment
- Experience of work in a medical communications agency (ideal, but not essential)

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Ideally 3 - 5 years' experience
- Advanced level Smartsheet or similar tool skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams), including strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of LEAN methodology
- Strong IT skills, including database development
- Ability to develop clear and accurate reports
