TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

**Responsibilities**:
The Project Manager has the full responsibility for a multitude of projects in particular, but not limited to major project milestones, deliverables on time and project health.
- Core team leader (CTL) of one or more major projects of typically medium to high complexity and risk
- Overall responsibility and ownership for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of assigned projects.
- Ability to manage projects and core teams without supervision
- Present project progress and needs to senior management and other prject stakeholders
- Set up and track project timing and milestones according to customer program timing
- Coordinate regular (weekly) project review meetings in the role of core team leader with multicultural, cross-functional teams
- Support the Account/Product Manager with financial justifications, business case and customer meetings
- Monitor production part approval process and coordinate market introduction
- Coordinate safe launch activities
- Responsibility for project KPIs and PjM reporting

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Engineering, Science or Business
- Typically has 3 years of experience managing project of medium complexity in a regional setting
- Thorough knowledge of project management tools and processes
- Fluency in English
- Change management experience
- Promotes team spirit by being a team contributor
- Problem solving
- Formal project management education and/or PMP certification (or pursuing to get one) advantage
- Some experience with LEAN PD, Waterfall, Agile methodologies
- Good knowledge of Industry standards (Automotive)
- Leadership - Negotiation, conflict management and risk management
