OVERVIEW

As an Assistant Brand manager, you will be working on the in the Marketing department and supporting the general functioning of the department. implementing campaigns, helping bring new products to market and assisting the wider team. You will be closely aligned to the Sidul brand, helping deliver the annual activation plan (social, TV, PR etc) while also helping develop new products in a number of markets (focus on Portugal and UK). You will also from time to time support the work of the wider marketing function.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the definition and execution of brand plans and communication campaigns;
- Work with agencies and partners to assure a successful execution of brand projects (paid & organic social media, display, PR, creative production, media booking & reporting, brand websites, paid and organic search, label design);
- Ensure accuracy of all marketing output, and work with agencies to deliver the most effective in-market marketing activations
- Closely work with colleagues from sales function to ensure successful implementation of marketing plans, also helping develop product-led opportunities to improve profitability
- Oversea product portfolio, working with finance & other teams to periodically review for opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
- Analysis of the market (EPOS and brand tracking), monitoring trends and reporting on latest status.
- Budget management and control
- Maintain suite of marketing assets to required standard, including product imagery, relevant databases, brand websites etc.
- Support European growth projects: work on elements of market research, project management, business cases and go-to-market plans as required
- Support overall functioning of the European marketing department.

WORK EXPERIENCES
- Minimum two years experience of consumer marketing, ideally working on FMCG products.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree (marketing, business etc) OR relevant combination of career experience and education.

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
- Able to speak English and Portuguese fluently
- Experience working with market data (e.g. Nielsen)
- Numerate and able to manage budgets
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised
- Self-motivated
