GLOBAL MARKETS FRONT OFFICE DATA ANALYST TRAINEE (JOB NUMBER: 2205GMFOS11030) **About the job** The team collaborates with Trading, Sales, Structuring, and Risks Management teams (2LOD) to help keep non-financial risks to an acceptable level. BS&C is a key component in the assessment and management of non-financial risks and implementation of the controls framework. **Your Main Activities Are** - Coordinate with other regional FOCS and BS&C team´s members on a daily basis - Support the FOCS and BS&C teams in NY with ad-hoc requests (reporting, regulatory, etc.) - Use tactical, spreadsheet-based tools, which can search data warehouses at a trade level, filter unwanted information and display the remaining results concisely, for subsequent analysis - Contribute to the design and production of timely Management Information for the Heads of Trading & Sales - Contribute to the team governance via projects or improving documentation - Assist in the development of automated tools for monitoring Global Markets Staff and performing customized data analytics - Contribute to the design, implementation and refinement of the monitoring procedures to more effectively identify actual or potential conduct risk scenarios - Assist supervisors to ensure they are satisfying their supervisory duties - Ensure procedures are kept up to date and in line with Group level policies - Maintain supervisory org chart, hierarchies, and approval delegations - Support the execution of governance committees and presentations - Support infrastructure development in support of supervisory duties - Assisting with the creation of reports and documentation for regulatory projects **Profile and Skills to Success** - Master Degree in Finance, Science, Math, IT & Engineering on Top Tier international Business School - Perfect fluency in English - Analytical and quantitative skills - Ability to organize large data sets - Team spirit, ability to work with others - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - Knowledge of Excel, Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) are a plus - Programming skills (Python) are a plus **Why joining BNP Paribas?** - **Leading banking institution** BNP Paribas is a leader in the Eurozone, and a prominent international banking institution with strong roots in Europe's banking history.
