FULL FABRIC is a London-based start-up developing technology for higher education. Our products and solutions impact thousands of university staff, management, lecturers, students, prospective students and alumni every day.

We are looking for a Finance Officer to take charge of the financial health of our company and support our organisation’s financial strategy.

This is a challenging and broad role and will include a full range of work, from managing our accounting system to supporting our business strategy. You will play an important part in our business growth by maintaining strong financial controls and by taking care of tracking cash flow, analysing strengths/weaknesses in the company’s finances and overseeing all aspects of its financial success.

Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.

**Key responsibilities**

**Accounts payable, receivable and accounting**

  • Processing invoices from suppliers and invoices to customers
  • Track and set up bank deposits and payments (including salaries)
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Performing monthly control account reconciliations
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Processing credit card statements and supporting documents
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts including the month-end process, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, balance sheets

**Management/Business growth**

  • Drive the company’s financial planning
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organisation’s operations
  • Perform risk management by analysing the organisation’s liabilities and investments
  • Support decisions on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Control and evaluate the organisation’s fundraising plans and capital structure
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports

**Requirements**

  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Proactive, independent and ambitions mindset
