Customer Service Advisor – Insurance (German & English) Company: Insurance Company Location: Lisbon, Portugal Work Model: On-site Start Date: 08 January 2026 Job Description We are looking for a German-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join an international insurance project in Lisbon. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer support, handling inquiries, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities Handle inbound customer contacts via phone and digital channels Provide accurate information related to insurance products and services Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally Maintain detailed and accurate records in internal systems Ensure compliance with quality and service-level standards Schedule Monday to Friday (including bank holidays) Rotational shifts between 07:30 AM – 08:00 PM Days off: Weekends Contract Fixed-term contract (CDD): 6 months Salary & Bonuses Base Salary: €1,100 gross x 14 months Performance Bonus: €100 x 12 months Complexity Bonus: €100 x 11 months Important Note on Bonuses: Payment of each bonus instalment is conditional on the employee maintaining less than 6% unjustified absenteeism in the month prior to the payment. These bonuses must not be presented as part of the fixed monthly salary, as eligibility depends on meeting the attendance condition. Benefits Meal Allowance: €7.63 per working day Health Insurance: Available from Day 1 (employee pays a monthly contribution) Becomes free after 6 months of contract Candidate Requirements Fluent German (C1/C2) and good command of English Customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills Ability to work on-site in Lisbon Accepted Documents EU ID Residence Card Manifestação de Interesse Visa Type D + NIF Relocation & Location Conditions Lisbon only Relocation from outside Portugal: Room in a shared apartment for up to 12 months Rent: €280/month, utilities included Amount discounted directly from payslip Remote positions (if applicable): Candidates must already live in mainland Portugal Not available for island residents
