Finance & Administrative Assistant-1

As Finance and Accounting Controller you will:

  • Report monthly, quarterly, and annual closings;

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements with IFRS/GAAP/SNC and internal policies;

  • Manage General Ledger activities, reconciliations, provisions, and journal entries;

  • Oversee group consolidation and reporting;

  • Provide variance analyses (actual vs forecast/budget) and performance insights;

  • Support FP&A and business teams in planning, forecasting, and budgeting;

  • Ensure strong internal controls across financial processes;

  • Support internal and external audits;

  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and corporate governance;

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting and reporting processes;

  • Support ERP and financial tools implementation and optimization;

  • Drive continuous improvement for accuracy, speed, and transparency of financial information;

  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to management;

  • Collaborate with operations, commercial, HR, and procurement teams.

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling or auditing;

  • Good knowledge of Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and tax compliance in Portugal;

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems;

  • Good English knowledge (spoken and written).
