Artemis Gallery is seeking an Exhibition Production Assistant to support the execution of our exhibitions and cultural programming. We are looking for someone organized, proactive, and genuinely interested in the artistic field.

Responsabilidades

  • Apoiar na montagem e desmontagem de exposições;

  • ⁠Acompanhar necessidades técnicas e logísticas dos artistas e curadores;

  • Auxiliar no transporte, manuseamento e posicionamento de obras e materiais;

  • ⁠Manter a organização dos espaços expositivos e área de armazenamento;

  • ⁠Monitorizar prazos, necessidades e cronogramas de produção;

  • ⁠Colaborar com as equipas de comunicação, design e media nos momentos de instalação;

  • ⁠Garantir que as orientações técnicas e de conservação são seguidas durante toda a produção.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions.

  • Support the technical and logistical needs of artists and curators.

  • Help with the transportation, handling, and placement of artworks and materials.

  • Maintain organization within exhibition spaces and storage areas.

  • Monitor timelines, production needs, and schedules.

  • Collaborate with communication, design, and media teams during installation periods.

  • Ensure technical and conservation guidelines are followed throughout the production process.

Requisitos:

  • Interesse por arte contemporânea, produção cultural ou áreas relacionadas;

  • Capacidade de organização, resolução de problemas e cumprimento de prazos;

  • Conforto com tarefas físicas moderadas (montagem, deslocação de equipamentos, etc.);

  • Atenção ao detalhe e responsabilidade no manuseamento de obras;

  • Boa comunicação e espírito de equipa;

  • Disponibilidade para trabalho presencial e flexibilidade em dias de montagem.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in exhibition production, cultural production, or related fields.

  • Interest in contemporary art, cultural production, or related areas.

  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and respect for deadlines.

  • Comfort with moderate physical tasks (installation, moving equipment, etc.).

  • Attention to detail and responsibility when handling artworks.

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Availability for on-site work and flexibility during installation days.
