What is my department like?
Our Office team ensures that Clever's workplace runs like clockwork, from managing facilities and travel to creating a comfortable and productive environment for everyone. The team is the backbone of daily operations, supporting all departments with efficiency and care.


What is my role like? 

As an Office Assistant, you'll play a key role in keeping our Porto office running smoothly. You'll coordinate daily operations, manage facilities, handle travel logistics, and ensure every visitor and employee enjoys a well-organized, professional environment. This is a hands-on role for someone proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented, who loves bringing structure and efficiency to everything they do.

What will my daily tasks involve?

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
  • Support reception activities — welcoming guests, managing deliveries, and maintaining a professional front desk.
  • Manage the company's general inbox and ensure timely distribution of messages
  • Coordinate and process company payments, maintaining accurate records and compliance.
  • Organize all company travel — from collecting requests to booking flights, hotels, and transfers.
  • Communicate travel plans and ensure employees receive all necessary documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, travel agencies, and service providers for the best deals and service quality.
  • Monitor office costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and internal policies.
  • Maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming office space.

What is expected from me?

  • 2–3 years of experience in administration, hospitality, or office coordination.
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive attitude with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with travel coordination or cost control is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a bonus).
  • Reliable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
