Facility Manager

Recipharm is currently recruiting a Facility Manager to join its Engineering and Maintenance department.

Role Overview
As a Facility Manager at a pharmaceutical site, you will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations, supporting laboratories and production areas. You will oversee maintenance activities, manage service providers, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead facility-related projects involving critical systems and utilities.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and the ability to bridge technical teams with business and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Maintenance: Oversee daily facility operations, including building maintenance, cleaning, grounds, security, and essential services (gases, water, utilities)
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure facilities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and standards (GMP, FDA), supporting audits, inspections, and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Project Management: Lead facility upgrades, modifications, construction works, and fit-outs for laboratories and production areas, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance
• Technical Oversight: Manage and maintain critical systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, purified water, and building automation systems
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate external service providers, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders (Production, Quality, Engineering)
• Budgeting & Continuous Improvement: Manage facility budgets, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability

Required Profile And Skills

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (preferred)
• Strong technical background in HVAC, electrical systems, utilities, automation, and building systems
• Solid knowledge of GMP regulations and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing projects in regulated environments
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Autonomous, proactive, and dynamic profile
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
• Fluent English, written and spoken
