Our client are an early-stage FinTech startup on a mission to streamline and democratize the seed-fundraising process for startups and investors. Their platform aims to simplify deal flow, automate compliance, and connect founders with the right capital at the right time. We're now looking for a strategic and hands-on
CTO / Technical Lead
to own the technology vision and turn it into a scalable, secure, and market-leading product.

The Role

As the CTO / Technical Lead, you will be the driving force behind the architecture, development, and technical direction of our platform. You'll work closely with the founding team to shape the product roadmap, build and lead the engineering team, and ensure we deliver a secure, intuitive, and innovative product for startup founders and investors.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and wants to have a major impact on the FinTech ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the overall technical strategy and product architecture.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
  • Deliver a robust, scalable, and compliant fundraising platform with strong security at its core.
  • Collaborate with founders on product development, timelines, and technology choices.
  • Oversee integrations with payment systems, KYC/AML services, and investor identity verification.
  • Establish engineering best practices, development workflows, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance as we grow.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in FinTech, compliance, and security.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership positions.
  • Strong background in full-stack development and cloud-native architectures.
  • Deep understanding of FinTech platforms
  • Experience designing scalable SaaS or marketplace platforms.
  • Proven ability to recruit, lead, and inspire engineering teams.
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage startup: ownership mentality, bias for execution, willingness to iterate quickly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in investment, fundraising, or capital-markets technology.
  • Previous CTO or technical co-founder experience.
