Role Description

This full-time Chef De Partie role is based on-site in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with the standards of Jamie Oliver Restaurants. They will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, manage food preparation, and ensure efficiency in operations. The role also includes collaborating with the kitchen team, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and assisting in training junior staff. Creative input in menu development may also be required as part of the dynamic environment at Jamie Oliver Restaurants.

Qualifications

  • Proven culinary skills and experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and maintaining consistency in dish quality
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a kitchen section and assist in mentoring junior team members
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and the ability to ensure compliance
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork to collaborate with colleagues in delivering high standards of service
  • Passion for fresh, nutritious ingredients, creativity in food presentation, and contributing to menu development is a plus
  • Industry certifications or training in culinary arts or food safety are highly desirable
