Purpose
As a Master Data Management Specialist, you play an essential role in implementation and execution of data management strategies, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the company's critical data across various systems and platform MDM platform/system in particular. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data systems and ensure data integrity and scalability. Responsibilities
Be a pro-active member of master data mangement team of analysts and specialists and engineers, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable and efficient data solutions. Support the implementation of data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Support developpment and enforce MDM policies: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the organization. Collaborate with IT and business units: support design and implementation of data governance structures, roles, and responsibilities. Support data governance: participate in data management efforts to maintain data integrity. Deliver (hands-on) and be responsible for analyzing and enriching master data. Support optimisation of data flow: Enhance the flow of data between users and stakeholders. Implement data management solutions: maintain MDM solutions to optimize system capabilities. Improvement of data management processes: support and participate in initiatives to enhance data management practice. Ensure compliance: Adhere to data governance policies and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve the organization's data capabilities. Report on the progress, performance, and impact of data initiatives to senior leadership. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams involved in data projects. Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.Certifications: Professional certifications in data management, such as Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), can be advantageous. Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in master data management, data architecture, data engineering, data gouvernance or a related field. Experience in implementing, supporting and/or maintaining master data gouvernance and architecture strategies and frameworks that align with business objectives and IT strategy. Practical experience in data management, data governance, or related areas is highly valued. This can be gained through roles such as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar. Demonstrated ability to support developpment and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies and their application in data management. Proven track of collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong collaborative skills. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Attributes such as team spirit, problem-solving, creative thinking, and proactivity are essential. Functional Competencies
