Junior Health and Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Mercer Benefits is a world leader in workplace health and benefits. The Mercer Health and Benefits team provides broking, consulting and technology support to build the right benefits strategy for businesses and its employees.

As a Consultant you'll advise a wide range of clients in order to help them assess, develop and deploy strategies, programs and initiatives to improve the health and wellness of their employees.

You'll be joining a team of expert consultants and brokers and learn from the best practices of the benefits consulting market. You will also work together with Marsh under the Mercer Marsh Benefits global brand.

We will count on you to:

• Work as a team with a great spirit of mutual help;
• Advise clients on best practices, financial management, compliance, communication and administration of health and benefit plans, having a strong knowledge on a great variety of insurances (health, life, accidents and pensions) as well as other flex benefits;
• Support our clients and administrate the insurance policies (renewal, negotiation, quotation, etc.);
• Mediation between clients, prospects and insurers;
• Daily contact with corporate clients (local and international);
• Search for the best solutions in the market and align our delivery with the benefits strategy of our clients.

What you need to have:

• Fluent in English (B2 minimum);
• Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills;
• Resilience, proactivity and flexibility;
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
