Purpose of Position
Provide technical support and advice to Maintenance & Engineering personnel and Flight crew on powerplant (Engines and APUs) systems and equipment and maintenance activities to achieve the highest levels of safety, performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements and with the most cost-effective options.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Support the Fleet Products Manager with the development and powerplant data requirements for annual budget preparation data for each fleet, ensuring Regulatory compliance;
  • Support with the identification of fleet improvements that would improve the company safety or operational capabilities. This includes the production of comprehensive business cases and cost/benefit analysis to support the investment decision;
  • Manage powerplant regulatory compliance in accordance with EASA, ANAC and UK CAA regulations;
  • Develop and recommend powerplant standardization across fleets to maximize equipment reliability, availability and minimise costs;
  • Support all Maintenance & Engineering personnel, and Flight Crew, with powerplant system related requests;
  • Responsible for prioritising and managing work assignments and projects to achieve an effective and optimal level of productivity;
  • Analyse and propose powerplant modifications across to improve operational efficiency, aircraft reliability and maintainability;
  • Coordinate the implementation of mandatory and optional fleet powerplant modifications in coordination with Maintenance Fleet Products Manager and Flight Operations;
  • Analyse and approve powerplant related Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives to comply with regulations and improve fleet reliability;
  • Propose and develop aircraft maintenance procedures, based on aircraft reliability data and manufacturer recommendations to enable improved availability and cost-effectiveness;
  • Review reliability reports and fleet related discrepancies to propose improvements on inspection programs, aircraft MEL (Minimum Equipment List) and modifications;
  • Establish contacts with each of the powerplant OEM representatives and vendors to ensure parts availability for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, at optimized pricing;
  • Analyse, evaluate and submit recommendations, in conjunction with Operations, for powerplant programs and projects to improve operational efficiency and Company system knowledge;
  • Responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the on-going Health Monitoring status of all Engines and APUs;
  • Responsible for planning and controlling scheduled inspection and overhaul visits, manage specific powerplant contracts and service agreements acting as the interface between NetJets and the OEMs;
  • Ensure that safety is a part of every job and activity. Support the safety and compliance programmes, ensuring that any issue that may affect them is appropriately reported;
  • Other duties can be requested to be performed subject to being within the same professional career, considered related or functionally linked.

  • EASA Part 66 Maintenance Technician Licence and/or equivalent Engineering degree;
  • 5 years of operational experience in an EASA Part CAMO, Part 145 organisation;
  • Effective Powerplant (Engines and APUs) Systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills;
  • Good Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory requirements (EASA, ANAC, UK CAA, etc.);
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
