Cloud Lead 

Role Overview

HumanIT is supporting one of its clients in hiring a Global Cloud, DC and Hosting Lead. This senior role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the global IT infrastructure, including Data Centers, servers, and the migration to Cloud environments (mainly Azure).

The position plays a key role in driving the organizations technology modernization journey, reducing technical debt, optimizing costs, improving performance, and ensuring high levels of service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Cloud strategy aligned with business goals (scalability, security, cost optimization, and performance).

  • Lead incident response efforts and oversee the resolution of infrastructure-related issues.

  • Collaborate closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure successful Cloud adoption.

  • Promote digital transformation and foster a cloud-first mindset across the organization.

  • Evaluate cloud service providers, support contract setup, and manage vendor relationships.

  • Ensure compliance, security, and governance across infrastructure and cloud services.

  • Define KPIs, monitor Cloud performance, and optimize resource utilization.

  • Provide guidance and training to teams on Cloud best practices.

  • Lead large-scale migrations of applications and workloads from on-premises to Cloud platforms.

  • Oversee third-party vendors in managing the full lifecycle of hardware, software, and Cloud services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud & Infrastructure, with relevant certifications (Microsoft Azure preferred).

  • Deep knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and Application Modernization.

  • Strong track record in Cloud migration projects.

  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and global platforms.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

  • Proactive, collaborative, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset.
