YOUR ROLE

• Analyze, review, and negotiate complex technology contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners;
• Draft legal opinions on various topics, focusing on contract, corporate, and regulatory law;
• Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Capgemini Portugal, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations;
• Represent the legal department in meetings and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, with fluency and confidence;
• Provide support on corporate governance and corporate structuring matters;
• Collaborate with business areas in an agile environment, proposing practical and effective legal solutions;
• Contribute to legal innovation initiatives, including the use of Gen AI and other emerging technologies.

YOUR PROFILE

• Law degree with active registration with the Portuguese Bar Association;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an in-house lawyer, preferably in technology or consulting companies;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong presentation and negotiation skills in an international environment;
• Solid knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and data protection (GDPR);
• Previous experience as a DPO or direct involvement with privacy and data protection matters;
• Experience working in multinational environments and complex legal structures;
• Organized, proactive profile with a strong interest in contract negotiations and the challenges of a constantly evolving market;
• Basic knowledge of Gen AI and interest in legal innovation.
