Your mission will be…

As a SAP Tester for Export/ Customs, you will collaborate with a highly engaged team to test product features for SAP S/4HANA that help our Siemens business organizations to run their business processes at their best. As a fully digitized and integrated Business Suite SAP S/4HANA is a key pillar of our Siemens Businesses and IT strategy. You will work in the Siemens SAP S/4HANA program and build-up the new ERP target architecture together with the specific Siemens business organizations.

What part will you play?

  • Design the test cases for Global Trade Services processes in S/4HANA based on input from the Subject Matter Experts of Customs/ Export Teams in line with the implementation of increments
  • Support to prepare test data, execute the designed test cases, report defects and re-test them to secure the go-live of the Releases
  • Support to organize and coordinate for the preparation and execution of the E2E integration test between Governance Foundation and the other Sherpa X Business Types the relevant inputs for Global Trade Services (e.g. test cases, test data)
  • Support to organize the User Acceptance Test to obtain the test approval from the nominated Siemens Key Users
  • Manage the test lifecycle for Global Trade Services as defined in the Sherpa X Way of Working: maintain the test inventory with the test cases, identify test cases for automation, report and handle defects, ensure consistent test execution and audit compliant documentation.
  • Prepare and present test status reports during the test cycles
  • Work on improvement and optimization of existing testing processes
  • Define the "WHEN" of delivery in line with the overall clock-speed (Wave and Sprints) and you own and assure that the "WHAT of your delivery fits to the increment

We are looking for someone with…

  • You hold any graduate degree in any discipline a comparable field, or a similar qualification
  • SAP S4/Hana knowledge including Fiori is preferred
  • Working experience in agile methodology is preferred but certification is not mandatory
  • You have (mini 2 years) experience as SAP tester
  • You have functional understanding of Business processes, e.g., Finance/Accounting, controlling, logistics and/or reporting.
  • You have experience in leading function-oriented project groups (incl. agile project structures) on an international level and enjoy working in and being part of international program organization with virtual/multicultural teams.
  • Intercultural experience is desired for global working environment
  • Fluent English skills are required, both written and spoken
  • You have a structured thought process and proactive approach towards problem solving
  • You have willingness to learn new processes, information and don't mind getting your hands dirty
