The legal team at Fever is a true business partner to all Fever teams, supporting sustainable growth across functions and geographies (including more than 200 cities across the globe).
Are you a lusophone lawyer looking to bring your legal expertise and experience in commercial law and transactions to a world-class In-House Legal Team?We are looking for a driven and ambitious associate-level lawyer to join our international Legal Team, with a focus on supporting Fever's operations in Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions. If you're a professional seeking to elevate your career at a fast-growing, tech-driven entertainment company, we'd love to hear from youAs Legal Counsel, Commercial General, you will have (or develop) diverse legal skills and a great gut instinct in negotiating, reviewing and finalising commercial contracts, working as a business partner with regional business leads to enable Fever's continued growth as a leading entertainment platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to broaden their legal expertise and exposure to business, and to take ownership of important legal projects — all while contributing to Fever's mission and vision.
About the Role:Drafting / revising Portuguese and English language commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP submission documentation and similar legal documentsSupporting commercial teams in the negotiation of deals and documentsResearching legal issues related to product development and regulatory complianceCoordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritise and manage legal mattersAssisting and participating in knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal, including by identifying the need for and participating in preparation of templates, guides, processes and similar documents and toolsParticipating in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as required Upskilling, support, and growth of other team membersAbout You:
Be a practising lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience working in a Portuguese-speaking jurisdiction.Professional fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, with proficiency in an additional language a strong plus.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.Experience working on international projects or with global teams.A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn.
