We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow - CMDB System Administrator with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of CMDB modules is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

The ServiceNow - CMDB System Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the configuration management database, ensuring its health and effectiveness.

  • Manage CMDB health
  • Review the existing configuration: attributes, flow, Configuration Items (CIs), Groups, Teams, etc.
  • Prepare the CMDB for effective IT Service Management (ITSM) implementation in ServiceNow
  • Improve business processes and manage continuous improvement projects
  • Propose automation whenever possible
  • Manage technical documentation
  • Coordinate upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance
  • Manage permissions and access (roles, users, and groups)
  • Maintain instance performance through regular checkups
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operations and system issues
  • Deploy update sets from non-production environments
  • Set up automatic notifications and alerts
  • Set up reports and schedule them
  • Develop and manage a standard load template to import data
  • Provide process training to business owners

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB modules
  • Experience with ITSM is a strong plus

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with automation in IT processes
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow platform upgrades
  • Experience in providing training to users
