Portland Hill Capital, founded in 2011, is an Investment Management Group dedicated to delivering superior risk-adjusted returns over the medium to long term through a proven investment process. We focus on fundamental bottom-up investing across global asset classes with an emphasis on European catalyst-driven equity ideas. Portland Hill Capital manages Cayman-based Offshore and Luxembourg-based UCITS funds, as well as dedicated managed accounts. We are authorized and regulated by the UK FCA and registered in the United States with the SEC as an Investment Adviser, ensuring transparency and alignment of interests with our investors.

We are seeking a versatile operations professional to support both a boutique hedge fund and related family office activities. The role is best suited to a candidate who enjoys variety, thrives in a small team, and can adapt to the needs of the founder and his businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee hedge fund operations: trade support, reconciliations, NAV oversight, treasury.
  • Support compliance and governance processes with administrators, auditors, and regulators.
  • Assist the founder with personal and administrative matters.
  • Coordinate across service providers (lawyers, accountants, banks, corporate services).
  • Provide project management and operational support for the founder's business and personal interests as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1+ years' experience in a hedge fund, asset manager, family office, prime broker, bank, or insurance firm.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously.
  • Discretion, reliability, and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable interacting at senior levels and representing the founder externally.
  • A flexible and supportive mindset.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
