In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a
Test Automation Engineer
(Cloud Platform Test Engineer) with a passion for automating tests, improving quality gates in CI/CD pipelines, and elevating quality practices within our Platform Engineering team.

This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about cloud infrastructure development, Kubernetes, or platform engineering, and who wants to apply their technical testing expertise to ensure our platform behaves reliably across all environments.

You will work with...

  • Planning test scenarios to reach strong system testing coverage
  • Writing automated test cases using your preferred languages and testing frameworks
  • Building automated environment creation, test, and teardown workflows
  • Adding and maintaining test stages inside CI/CD pipelines
  • Validating Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and add-ons
  • Testing Terraform infrastructure modules and ensuring safe lifecycle behavior
  • Verifying integrations across platform components (networking, identity, CI/CD, observability, policies)
  • Performing failure-mode and negative testing based on real-world scenarios

  • Platform engineers by understanding module logic and expected behavior
  • Quality visibility by openly communicating issues and contributing to design reviews and release planning
  • Reproducing and investigating platform bugs, edge cases, and complex distributed-system behaviors

You will contribute to...

  • Defining and improving quality gates for platform modules
  • Helping shape a testing culture within the Platform Engineering team
  • Ensuring platform releases are reliable, predictable, and non-exciting events
  • Raising the bar for test automation, exploratory testing, and platform-level validation

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • Solid experience in creating maintainable test automation, with some scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Hands-on expertise with frameworks like Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Creativeness in exploratory testing with a "break-things" mindset
  • Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and platform-level issues
  • Good communication skills in English and willingness to collaborate closely with platform engineers
  • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (Azure preferred)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes basics (AKS preferred; other managed K8s also suitable)
  • Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy

As a bonus, we consider:

  • Hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure
  • Practical experience with clusters, networking, identity, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience testing infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Familiarity with Helm, GitOps (Argo CD), or platform add-ons
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Azure Monitor, Grafana)
  • Experience of working with an international team, plus great communication and organizational skills
