This position offers an opportunity to well-suited candidates to join a growing, fast paced energetic environment and culture.SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Sales Development Manager will be responsible for developing strategies and tactics to maximize the revenue and profitability of sales to high-value existing clients of Adalvo. Key to this will be building relationships, researching market trends and implementing plans. Sales Development Managers play an important role in nurturing a company's relationships with clients who bring in a significant portion of their profits.ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTUREThis role will report directly to the VP Sales Development, EuropeRESPONSIBILITIESAct as a single point of contact for customers' post contract signatureDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with your customersValidate Purchase Orders to confirm compliance to AgreementUpdate customers on order status, typically bi-weeklyPoint of contact for customer launchesAct as point of escalation for customerEnsure Adalvo are maximizing the revenue and profitability of each customer / product by e.g.:Optimising ordering patterns & MOQ'sChallenging customers on poor performing productsIncreasing prices where market justification existsAssessing profit share data receivedQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSThis is a high profile and demanding role within Adalvo, and expectations are high for all team members. The ideal candidate would have the following:Detailed market & industry knowledge specifically related to the roleAt least 5 years of work experience in similar role within the Pharmaceutical industry, working with typical Adalvo customer baseStrong Pharma Supply Chain management experienceAbility to both nurture customers and to also have uncomfortable conversations to enhance Adalvo profitability.Ambition, who wants to grow, learn and be challengedDesire to work in the fastest, most ambitious and hard working B2B company in EuropeOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsProblem-solving and negotiation aptitudeAbility to prioritize and meet critical deadlinesFamiliar with working with a diverse cross functional teamAbility to travel regularly in EuropeFluent EnglishUniversity degree: (Bachelor or Master's degree) in Business or FinanceVery good Computer Knowledge, especially on MS Office, SAP and Power BICORE COMPETENCIESTarget DrivenSmart NetworkingTeamworkRelentless Customer FocusOptimisticWhy join us?
