About the role
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Healthcare Operations Analyst to join our team. The Healthcare Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in analysing, planning, and implementing strategies to balance the demand and supply of our healthcare services. Using internal historical data and predictive tools, this individual will promote optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency. As a Healthcare Operations Analyst, you will:
- Be responsible for optimised operational/financial performance of selected business operations.
- Monitor and analyse day-to-day operational performance to ensure efficient resource allocation and optimised financial outcomes.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to guide senior management’s decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Produce detailed reports, presentations, and documentation on operational activities, performance metrics, and resource management.
- Maintain accurate and organised production records, files, and databases to support operational transparency and decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date operational control files and databases, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of critical data for effective management decisions.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, optimise processes, and highlight areas for improvement in resource allocation and service delivery.
- Manage and track resource utilisation to ensure effective allocation in line with demand and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with medical allocation parameters, adjusting resource distribution as necessary to meet regulatory standards.
- Gather and systematise data to monitor operational and performance indicators, supporting continuous tracking and evaluation.
About you
To be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in an analyst, controller or management role.
- Experience in the healthcare sector will be a major advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with database management.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Portuguese and English.
