What we are looking for:
To support us on our mission, we are looking for a talented and highly ambitious Collection Specialist. In this role, you will review account information, correct discrepancies and ensure that payments are collected. To be successful as a Collection Specialist, you should be a conscientious individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and have an affinity for numbers.
Contact and actively encourage delinquent customers and manage debt collection process React to client account queries in a timely and professional manner Explain collection policies, terms & conditions and procedures to customers Comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding debt collection practices Monitor, manage and ensure a sustainable level of outstanding Accounts Receivables (AR) Liaise between internal teams (Finance, Sales, Customer Success Management) and external customers
Basic Qualifications:
Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Previous experience in an equivalent role Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification Comprehensive understanding of corporate terms and conditions Excellent skills in customer service, problem-solving, (self) time-management, organizing and administration duties Professional in MS-Office and NetSuite Respectful, empathetic and patient approach to customers and if necessary good skills in deescalating Fluent written and spoken English language skills are mandatory, German or another second language are a plus
