Reward Performance & Recognition Specialist

Join our dynamic team at AstraZeneca as a Reward Performance & Recognition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and administering our Performance Development and Recognition program. You will partner with internal stakeholders across various functions and geographies, maintaining external vendor relationships, and educating our team on program details and changes. Experience with global performance development, recognition processes, and familiarity with HCM (Workday) and external recognition platforms is a plus.

About the Role

As a Reward Performance & Recognition Specialist, you will lead and oversee the administration of performance development and recognition programs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements. You will collaborate with IT to ensure Workday reports and dashboards accurately reflect data to facilitate reporting on the performance development cycle's progress. You will also handle the reporting from the Global Recognition platform (Catalyze), ensuring accurate and timely data is available to support recognition initiatives and decision-making.

Required Essential Skills & Experience

- Educated to Degree level

- Significant experience in the use of analysis tools

- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable reward strategies

- Developed analytical and presentation skills

- Development understanding of HCM and Recognition platforms

- Take a continuous improvement approach to work within own remit while also being capable of raising ideas and suggestions for other related improvement outside of the scope of the role

- Analytical attitude with attention to detail, comfort in HCM (Workday preferred), recognition platforms, Word and Excel

- Have a proactive and consultative approach, taking accountability and ownership of work

- Ability to handle expectations and customers (both internally and externally) at multiple levels, including leadership teams

- Ability to prioritize work, plan in advance, and set expectations among stakeholder client groups

- Ability to take a measured approach for issue resolution and troubleshooting
