Group Consolidation

Location: Porto or Geneva
The position is part of the Group Consolidation & Reporting team, responsible for the consolidation process on the monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, as well as delivering the Group Annual Report. The position reports to the Group Head of Consolidation and Reporting.
Main Responsibilities
Participate to the monthly consolidation and reporting process:
- Take responsibility for a group of countries and assist them in the area of accounting and reporting
- Review their financial reporting packages during monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Prepare IFRS and consolidation adjustments
- Prepare the reporting packages to the top management and external shareholders
- Assist in the preparation and publication of annual reports, respecting guidelines and deadlines.
- Participate in the improvement of existing reports, process and tools used in daily work
- Ensure intercompany reconciliations
Assistance on various projects and ad-hoc tasks:
- Acquisitions integration
- Automation reporting and financial statements
- Provides technical support and training to countries and corporate functions when needed
- Support the consolidation team by preparing specific ad-hoc analysis
- Support the audit process with external auditors
Requirements
- University degree in Finance and Accounting
- External audit experience (around 4-5 years) completed by a consolidation experience in an international business would be an advantage.
- Exposure to IFRS within an international company
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Pro-active and adaptable
- Team player with good communication skills
- Good IT skills (Excel, Consolidation and Reporting tools), any PowerBI or Alteryx is an advantage
- English: Fluent/Full Professional in written and spoken
