Data Strategist

Skills
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards and ensure compliance across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
  • Develop strategies for data resource management, data modelling, and other data related activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proven experience as a Data Strategist, Data Manager, or a similar role in a data environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, etc.
  • Experience managing a team of data engineers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task
  • Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory)
