Lisbon, PortugalOLX Group – Logistics and Support Staff /Full-time /On-siteWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health and Safety Specialist/ Office Assistant. This dual role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while providing essential Office support to maintain a smooth and efficient office environment. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for creating a safe and efficient work environment, working from the reception is an integral part of the job, your role as a combined Health and Safety Specialist and Office Assistant places you at the heart of our operations.
In a typical day at OLX, in the role of Health and Safety Specialist, you will:
Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, Ensure the office complies with all regulatory health and safety regulations, Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits within the office to identify potential hazards, Organize and conduct health and safety training sessions for office staff, including emergency procedures and ergonomic practices, Develop and oversee emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness, Provide general support to visitors and assist in organizing office events or meetings, Maintain an organized filing system and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
To get there, you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, Relevant health and safety certifications are a plus, Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a health and safety role and/or office administration, Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, With strong English communication skills (spoken + written).
