Contract Business Analyst – Data & SQL Expertise Location: Portugal (role will 100% remote but you must be based in Portugal) Duration: 6 month rolling contract Day Rate: Competitive About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong data analysis expertise and advanced SQL skills to join a major data transformation programme. This role requires someone who can manage multiple workstreams , prioritise workloads effectively, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for data governance and cataloguing initiatives. Work closely with stakeholders to define data standards and ensure alignment across projects. Perform complex data analysis using SQL to support decision-making and validate data quality. Contribute to the design and implementation of master data frameworks and data governance processes . Support the development and maintenance of data catalogues and metadata management solutions. Manage competing priorities across multiple streams of work, ensuring timely delivery. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-focused projects. Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis. Hands-on experience with data governance , data cataloguing , and master data management . Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Desirable Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, or similar). Experience in large-scale data transformation programmes. Why Join?
