Summary of the position:

As a FedEx Clearance Broker, you will collaborate closely with Customs to facilitate our timely clearance and delivery processes, ensuring the completion of checks and procedures for efficient transaction processing and legal compliance. Working within stringent deadlines in a bustling office setting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reviewing shipment data to identify specific Customer and regulatory requirements, as well as verifying the accuracy and completeness of submitted documentation.
  • Utilizing in-house systems to generate prompt, precise, and legally compliant clearance declarations.
  • Engaging in professional communications with customers or government entities to seek clarifications as necessary.
  • Taking charge of routine Customer and Customs disputes, implementing necessary actions for timely resolution.
  • Cultivating and nurturing effective Customer relationships by recognizing opportunities for tailored or alternative services.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in English (B2 – C1) and Spanish (B2-C1).
  • A team player with a proactive attitude.
  • A focus on customer satisfaction with exceptional communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Task-oriented with strong time management abilities.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to make independent decisions based on expertise.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to thrive in a multinational/multicultural environment.
