Your Main Activities Are

  • Coordinate the customer and internal account onboarding processes for Prime Brokerage ensuring efficient workflow and rigorous followup with various departments including KYC, Credit, Risk, Legal, Client Services, Sales, etc. in North America and globally
  • Leverage securities compliance expertise to analyze and determine account documentation requirements based upon counterparty type and products traded
  • Work closely with Sales by providing continuous feedback on status of accounts and meet with prospective clients both inperson and remotely.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process from coordinating approval, to assisting in the legal documentation, to acting as client liaison to the KYC/AML team and Credit Risk, to system account setups, to client hand off to the relationship managers and follow up requests, etc
  • Working with clients on a daily basis working through all aspects of the account opening process
  • Maintenance of the global prime brokerage onboarding pipeline
  • Completion and maintenance of the New Account Validation Committee (NAVCo) agenda, minutes, proposal templates, and tracking spreadsheets
  • Maintenance, facilitation and oversight of the NAVCo exemption and eNAVCo process
  • Maintenance, facilitation and coordination of deal/price change approvals
  • Contribute to firmwide projects related to integration, new systems, data remediation, and new regulations

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Science, Maths, IT, Engineering or similar fields
  • Strong knowledge of the Office tools mainly Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • A basic understanding of hedge fund industry and the operational aspects of equity markets
  • 2+ years of experience in the finance or similar client service industry
  • Fluency in English both oral and written
  • Comfortable working and communicating with various groups including sales, trading, technology, legal and client management

About the Team

  • Global Markets encompasses three global business lines: Macro, Global Equities and Global Credit. Prime Services, as part of the Global Equities business line primarily focuses on facilitating effective ways to raise and invest capital as well as manage their exposure to risk for their clients
  • Prime Services combines the historical strength in traditional Prime Brokerage services providing the following business offering (Financing, Prime Brokerage Services, Risk Management and Execution) top rated in Securities Lending, Client Service, Capital Introduction and more with the innovative DNA of the Equity Derivative franchise. This combination allows us to anticipate client needs and develop solutions to the problems they face
