Your mission will be manage Avincis Aviation Portugal AOC and ATO Safety Management System.

Main responsabilities:

· Manage the Safety Management System, throughout the AVINCIS PORTUGAL organization assuring their compliance according to CAA instructions;

· Support of the AVINCIS International Group integrated safety strategy;

· Conduct safety audits, surveys and inspections of any aspect of the operation;

· Conduct investigations of internal safety events;

· Implement, development and oversight, of safety policies and procedures;

· Maintain the company safety database;

· Monitor the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks;

· Provide periodic reports on safety performance, disseminating safety-related information;

· Responsible for the implementation, development and oversight of the Emergency Response Plan procedures;

· Ensure that there is safety management training available and that it meets acceptable standards;

· Development and delivery of Safety Management training;

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety KPIs;

· Assisting the Accountable manager on the development of annual Safety Goals and Objetives;

MInimum requirements:

· Be, or have been, holder of an airline pilot or commercial pilot license, with qualifications inherent or equivalent to the type, class and/or performance of the aircraft used by the operator; or

· Have as academic qualifications a degree in engineering in the fields of aeronautical, mechanics, industrial, electromechanical, electrotechnical, telecommunications or other relevant.

Valuable requirements:

· Good communications skills;

· Good English Language skills;

· MS Office

· Have at least three years of professional experience in the area of commercial air transport or aerial work, performing similar functions in an operator with a COA;

· Have basic training, ongoing training, and specific training in the area of accident prevention, flight safety and safety system management.

· Have successfully attended an aeronautical legislation course, particularly in the part relevant to the performance of duties.
