Job Description:


As a Buyer for our Textile Company, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring materials to support our apparel and accessories lines.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and evaluating suppliers globally, with a focus on China, India, and Bangladesh, to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain.
  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maximize value for the company.
  • Collaborating closely with design and production teams to understand product requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitoring market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve and identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking out new partnerships to expand our network.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the textile or fashion industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, with a strong understanding of procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with textile materials and production processes, as well as knowledge of global supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a detailoriented approach to decisionmaking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
