As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Caretag, you'll play a key role in supporting hospitals and sterile processing departments, helping them overcome technical challenges, improve efficiency, and enhance patient safety. You'll act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through technical problem-solving, multi-vendor coordination, and seamless implementation of our solutions.

About Caretag

Caretag provides advanced RFID solutions to simplify how hospitals and sterile processing departments manage surgical instruments. By streamlining workflows and tracking medical equipment, we're helping healthcare professionals focus on what matters most: patient care.

While this might sound highly specialized, you don't need prior experience in healthcare or RFID to succeed. What matters most is a strong technical background, experience in technical account management, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. We'll provide you with the training and tools you need to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, strategic partners, and vendors.
  • Understand client objectives, IT infrastructure, and challenges to provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Communicate Caretag's product roadmap and ensure alignment with client needs.

Technical Guidance

  • Provide expert-level technical support during setup, deployment, and ongoing use of Caretag solutions.
  • Monitor client success through KPIs and satisfaction metrics, continually identifying areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling by addressing evolving client needs.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure smooth client operations.
  • Take ownership of critical issues, coordinating internal resources and external experts to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage complex, multi-vendor situations to ensure clear communication and effective resolution across all involved parties.

Strategic Planning

  • Act as a proactive technical partner, recommending the best solutions to meet short- and long-term goals.
  • Leverage industry trends and client insights to guide future-proof planning based on best practices and mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide technical insights during the pre-sales process and ensure smooth transitions post-sale.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Caretag's offerings by providing client feedback and technical insights with product teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in technical account management or a similar role.
  • A strong technical background coupled with business and sales acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience managing complex client environments, including multi-vendor setups.
  • A proactive mindset with a talent for anticipating client needs and delivering effective solutions.
  • Experience in healthcare and multilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
