Join Our Mission to Improve Lives Worldwide
The Analytical Chemistry Scientist will be part of the Analytical Sciences Team within the Drug Enabling Sciences Department - R&D Division. The team is responsible for all analytical activities related to the development of BIAL's new products (drug substance and drug product), from Research through to Commercial phase, with depth understanding of the compound properties and Target Product Profile.
The Impact You'll Make
Execute identification and structural characterization of NCEs by NMR and other analytical techniques;
Execute analytical method development and validation for new drug substances and new drug products (small molecules);
Perform an adequate equipment maintenance and usage;
Collaborate and support team´s daily activities;
Ensure clear communication of analytical results;
Plan and organize daily priorities within the assigned tasks, to accurately meet the requirements and timelines of each activity;
Comply with the Policies, Standards and Procedures in place;
Collaborate effectively with other departments, teams and colleagues as required, to support overall company objectives.
What You'll Bring
Master or PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or Chemistry (PhD is preferred);
Experience in analytical techniques (NMR and Chromatography are preferred);
Knowledge of ICH and other relevant regulatory guidelines;
Strong organizational skills for establishing priorities and meeting timelines;
Ability to effectively adapt to new organization structures and dynamics within a fast-pacing environment, promoting a healthy and inclusive workplace;
Passionate about analytical sciences within a R&D environment;
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave.
