Offer Description ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management announces an international recruitment contest for the position of two Assistant Professors in the subject area of Accounting, Auditing, and Tax.
The successful candidates will sign a permanent public service employment contract in the category of the contest, with a probationary period of five years. The contest is specifically designed to recruit graduates with a PhD who have high research potential and who wish to start out on a university teaching career.
Work location: The Campus of ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Rua do Quelhas No. 6, 1200-781 Lisboa, Portugal.
Admission requirements for the contest III.1 — Candidates must have a PhD;
III.2 – Only candidates with the ability to teach in English may be admitted for this contest.
III.3 – Candidates will be automatically excluded from this contest should they fail to submit the necessary documents by the deadline.
III.4 – Candidates will also be excluded from the contest if they fail to justifiably meet the deadline, or submit inadequate, false, or invalid documents.
Requirements for admission based on merit To hold a PhD in the field of Management, or similar subject area;
To possess a scientific and teaching curriculum in the subject area of the respective position;
For the scientific curriculum to be considered compatible, candidates must have at least two papers published during the five years prior to the contest.
Assessment criteria and ranking This contest evaluates the capacity and performance of the candidates in various competencies:
Carry out scientific research, cultural activities, or technical development;
Lecture the designated subjects and supervise students;
Participate in public outreach activities;
Participate in the management of the university faculties;
Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the university.
Submission of applications Applications must be submitted by the 30th working day counting from the date of the publication of this notice.

A completed copy of the application form;
An electronic copy of the candidate's curriculum vitae;
A copy of the Scientific-Pedagogical Project;
An electronic copy of all scientific papers published.
Language: All supporting documents can be presented in either Portuguese or English, except for the curriculum vitae and the Scientific-Pedagogical Project, which must be in English.
