The Marketing Analyst will support the Strategy Manager in developing strategic, market, and retail insights based on desk research, data, and market analysis and will assist in developing market-leading proprietary Private Brand strategy and consumer marketing plan development. Support the preparation and content creation of internal and external intelligence reports, papers and studies on key critical topics impacting the industry. Analyse and provide relevant insights about markets and consumers by using varied data sources and qualitative reports from syndicated and non-syndicated tools and open sources of information. Collect, interpret and perform quality checks on different types of information and translate them into actionable insights. Participate in market research analytics, consumer insights, and competitive analysis. Participate in identifying and analysing benchmarks, with the capacity to infer recommendations suitable for each business and/or project. Participates in Private Brand strategy discussions and in identifying a consumer target. Drive consumer understanding and insights to support defining the consumer target needs, attitudes, and values to develop a stronger and more impactful Private Brand strategy. To assist in developing Private Brand identity, positioning, and messaging to inform the creative process. Key Requirements: Degree in Business Management or Marketing, Master preferred. Min 3-5 Years of experience in the Retail and/or Private Brand industry or Marketing with a leading CPG company. Analytical work experience, with experience working with large Excel datasets. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to outline strong, fact-based storytelling. Ability to multi-task and set priorities. Able to work independently and in cross-functional groups. Strong analytical and storytelling mindset. Strong English verbal and written communication skills. Additional languages are a plus. Strong PC Skills in Microsoft Office suite, namely MS Excel and PowerPoint. Organised, a strong team player and passionate about the retail industry. Who are we?
