The Challenge:You'll have to proactively seize big opportunities and offer forward-looking and data-driven consulting to the Smoke Free, Combustible and Portfolio leadership teams. By making the best use of your team, you'll become a true partner for your stakeholders, offering data-driven recommendations and ensuring fit-for-purpose data solutions.
Your 'day to day':Engage and influence leadership teamSenior level engagement with the business leadership team to understand key business questions / BPWATTS for commercial operations and consumer challenges. Continuously align and prioritize with business which are the key data solutions to strategic problems & opportunities. Able to influence data-driven decision making of the leadership team based on data products: what to stop / scale and how to accelerate growth.
Own the portfolio of business data productsIs responsible for the analytics data products of the assigned areas (CC, SFP & Portfolio) ensuring that respective developments are aligned with business priorities. Ensure development is fit-for-purpose by constantly prioritizing within its influence scope (Data Gov, Advanced Analytics). Define prioritization for data requirements and developments.
Proactively seize business opportunitiesBacked up by data analytics, proactively identify and seize strategic business opportunities. Develop strong business cases and deliver outstanding and convincing presentations to senior leadership teams in order to drive action on big-ticket items with sizable business impact on top and/or bottom line. Courage to recommend what to stop/scale up based on data. Deliver actionable insights that optimize return on investment and accelerate growth.
Leadership & collaborationAct as a project leader influencing and coordinating key actors to work together against a common business challenge/opportunity. Not limited to the data teams in Analytics but extend reach to other key contributors such as Commercial, SFP, CC, Finance, IT and SPD, depending on the business challenge scope.
Who we're looking for:• Management/business school degree. MBA is valued
• 7-10 years experience in CCO/Sales operations in FMCG ideally in CCO functions with a high level of data model usage (RTM, Planning).
• Used to high-level critical thinking and decision making.
• Ideally experience in CCO Operations.
• Alternatively, or complementary to previous, 7-10 years experience in Sales/Go-to-Market consultancy companies with a client base in the FMCG industry.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Portuguese.
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Portugal.
